Sufferfest Beer Company was born out of a need to provide a gluten-removed beer that doesn’t compromise on taste or quality. We partnered with Sufferfest to design a beer that celebrates the company’s mantra: “Medals for a job well done.”

The Partnership Designsake’s partnership with Sufferfest Beer Co. first brewed at a house party in 2014, where Founder Caitlin Landesberg prompted Danielle McWaters with a blank 16oz beer can. The pitch? How to bring #earnit inspired, gluten-removed beer to the Bay Area.
A Winning Combination Inspired by athletes but brewed for everyone, each can features a line of distinguished color ribbons and bold typography. The victorious fist icon, front and center on each can and carton, communicates the brand’s ability to overcome the challenges of using barley in a gluten-free beer.

Our dedicated partnership reached new heights in 2019 with the company’s acquisition by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., the legendary brewery’s first ever acquisition in 30 years.
